LinkNow is a GPS-based proximity social networking app that helps you connect with people nearby in real-time. Whether you're at a conference, event, or just exploring your area, LinkNow makes it easy to discover and connect with interesting people around you

Simply download the app and sign up with your phone number and email. You'll need to create a profile with your basic information, interests, and preferences. Make sure to enable location services to get the full LinkNow experience.

If location sharing is enabled, people nearby using the app will be able to see your profile within the set distance range. You can disable location sharing at any time in Settings.

Go to your device Settings > Privacy > Location Services, then find LinkNow and set it to 'While Using' or 'Always'. Within the app, go to Settings > Location and toggle on 'Enable Location Tracking' to start discovering nearby users.

You must be at least 18 years old to create a LinkNow account. We require age verification during the sign-up process to ensure a safe community for all users.

While you can browse the app with location disabled, most features like proximity matching and discovering nearby users require location access. You can temporarily disable location in Settings if needed.

After signing up, you'll be guided through profile setup. Add your name, age, bio, interests, and at least one profile photo. You can also verify your school/university for added credibility. Complete profiles get more visibility and connections.

You can set your discovery range from 50 feet to 100 miles in the Discover page filters. The app shows approximate distance (e.g., "0.5 miles away") to protect exact location privacy.

Auto-hide in Settings > Location allows you to set a timer (15 min to 24 hours) after which your profile automatically becomes invisible to others. Perfect for when you forget to manually turn off visibility.

Yes! In Settings > Edit Profile, you can add links to your Instagram, Snapchat, or other social profiles. This helps people learn more about you and connect on other platforms.

You'll receive a notification. Go to Connections to view pending requests. You can accept to start messaging, or decline if you're not interested. Both users must accept to become connected.
