You can message someone directly from their profile depending on their messaging privacy settings. You can also send a connection request. Once they accept, you can start chatting.

Users can send photos, videos, and voice messages in chats. Tap the pictures icon in the message box to attach media. All media is encrypted and stored securely.

Users who have their activity status enabled will see a green dot next to their profile picture in the profile modal. This indicates that they've been active within the last 15 minutes. You can show or hide your online status in Settings > Privacy.

Yes! Long‑press any message and select "Delete." Both you and the recipient will see "Message deleted."

You can send connection requests to anyone nearby. Once they accept, you can message freely. If a user has their messaging privacy set to "Friends Only," you'll need to add them first. If they have it set to "Anyone," you can message them even before connecting.

Read receipts are not a feature of LinkNow. You won't see any indicators showing whether someone has viewed your message.

Press and hold any conversation in Messages to open the menu, then select "Delete." This removes the chat from your view, but not from the other person's. Deleted conversations are moved to Recently Deleted for 30 days before being permanently removed.

Whether you can message someone before they accept your connection request depends on their messaging privacy settings. If they've limited messaging to Friends only, you won't be able to contact them until they accept your request. If their setting allows messages from Anyone, then you can message them before they accept your friend request.
