Send a connection request from their profile. Once they accept, you can start messaging. Basic users get 10 messages per day, while Standard and Pro users have unlimited messaging.

Read receipts (available for Standard and Pro users) show when the other person has read your message with a blue checkmark. You can toggle this on/off in Settings > Privacy.

Yes! Standard and Pro users can send photos, videos, and voice messages. Tap the + icon in the message box. Media is encrypted and automatically deleted after 30 days to save storage.

Yes! Long-press any message and select "Delete for Everyone" within 1 hour of sending. Both you and the recipient will see "This message was deleted". After 1 hour, you can only delete for yourself.

Press and hold any conversation in Messages to open the menu, then select "View Recently Deleted". Or go to Settings > Recently Deleted to view conversations deleted in the last 30 days. Tap any conversation and select Restore to bring it back with full message history intact. After 30 days, conversations are permanently deleted.

Standard and Pro users get read receipts. You'll see a small checkmark next to sent messages. Double checkmarks mean the message was delivered and read. Basic users do not have access to read receipts.

Yes! Standard and Pro users can send voice messages. Tap and hold the microphone icon in the chat to record. Release to send, swipe left to cancel. Voice messages are limited to 60 seconds.

Press and hold any conversation in your Messages tab to open the menu, then select Delete. This removes the chat from your view but not the other person's. Deleted conversations move to Recently Deleted for 30 days before being permanently removed.

Unmatching removes the connection and deletes the entire conversation history for both users. This action cannot be undone. You won't see each other in Discover or be able to message again unless you reconnect.
