Understand common tech issues and get the assistance you need

The app isn't showing nearby users. What should I do?
First, check that location services are enabled in your device settings and within the app (Settings > Location). Make sure "Enable Location" is toggled on. Try refreshing the Discover page. If issues persist, restart the app or reinstall it.
Messages aren't sending. How can I fix this?
Check your internet connection (WiFi or cellular data). Ensure the other user hasn't blocked you. Try closing and reopening the chat. If the problem continues, contact support.
My profile photos won't upload. What's wrong?
Ensure photos are under 5MB and in JPG or PNG format. Check that you've granted the app photo access in your device settings. Try reducing the photo size or using a different image.
I'm not receiving notifications. How do I enable them?
Go to your device Settings > Notifications > LinkNow and ensure notifications are enabled. In the app, go to Settings > Notifications and toggle on the notification types you want to receive.
The app keeps crashing. What should I do?
Try force-closing the app and reopening it. If crashes continue, check for updates. Still having issues? Uninstall and reinstall the app, or contact support.
How much data does LinkNow use?
LinkNow is designed for efficiency, using only 5–15MB per hour of active use. While location updates and messaging consume minimal data, viewing photos and profiles will increase usage. For the best experience, we recommend connecting to Wi-Fi.
Why am I not appearing in other people's Discover?
Please check that your location services are set to "Always" or "While Using," the "Enable Location" toggle is on in your settings, and auto-hide mode is disabled. If the issue persists, please reinstall the app.
My profile photo won't save. What's wrong?
Ensure your photo is under 5MB, saved as a JPG or PNG, and that you've granted photo library access in your device settings. Make sure you have a stable internet connection, and try a different photo if the issue continues.
The Discover page is loading very slowly.
This can happen if there are many users nearby. Try reducing your distance range, closing and reopening the app, and checking your internet speed.
How do I clear the app cache?
On iOS: Go to device Settings > General > iPhone Storage > LinkNow > Offload App. On Android: Settings > Apps > LinkNow > Storage > Clear Cache. This frees up space without deleting your account data.
What are the minimum system requirements?
To use LinkNow, you need an iPhone 6s or newer running iOS 13.0 or later, or an Android device with Android 8.0 (Oreo) or newer and at least 2GB of RAM.
